For Reimbursement Requests
For reimbursements or payments related to FOT programs, please use our online check request form. Contractors and individuals being paid for services must include a current W-9 form. Ensure you have approval from your program manager before submitting a request.

SUPPORT THE EQUITY FUND
The Friends of TOPS (FOT) Equity Fund is a testament to the school’s commitment to social justice and equitable education. Established in 2022, the fund is a strategic effort to align TOPS fundraising practices with its mission to support equitable resource allocation across Seattle schools.
The Equity Fund allows donors to direct their contributions to support not only the enrichment activities at TOPS but also other Seattle schools or local organizations that have limited fundraising capabilities. This initiative helps bridge the resource gap created by historical practices and ensures that all students have access to quality educational experiences.
An Equity Fund Committee, open to all parents and community members, oversees the fund. The committee’s goals include researching and recommending where to direct the donations, assessing the community’s investment in equitable school funding, and identifying sustainable fundraising practices that resonate with the school’s values.
By contributing to the Equity Fund, donors can make a meaningful difference beyond the boundaries of TOPS, fostering a more inclusive and supportive educational landscape throughout SeattlChoose “Equity Fund” from the drop down menu to direct your gift to the Equity Fund. Choose “TOPS programs” to direct your gift to programs at TOPS. To give to both, please perform two separate donations.
OUR PROGRAMS and BUDGET
Our Programs and Budget
Each year, we allocate funds raised towards programs for the following school year. Program proposals are reviewed and approved by the Site Council, acting as the FOT board. While we adapt to the changing educational landscape, our goal is to ensure that all budgeted programs can proceed, with flexibility to reallocate funds as needed to best serve our students. Examples of FOT funded projects that have a tremendous impact on our school are below:
